Objective Pursued
Support the provincial and health authorities of North Kivu in the process of setting up a health insurance system adapted to the context of North Kivu.
Completed Actions
- Completion of 3 studies focused respectively on (i) the feasibility analysis at the provincial level, (ii) the feasibility analysis from the point of view of the national context, (iii) the actuarial analysis
- Realization of 3 study trips focused on (i) the experience of Bwamanda in the DRC, (ii) the Belgian experience, (iii) the Rwandan experience
- Organization of meetings of the Financing working group and the Governance working group
- Contribution to advocacy for health insurance and universal health coverage: meetings, workshops and conferences.
