My name is Marine, I am a student in the second year of a master’s degree in population and development sciences at the University of Liege. I joined the ULB-Cooperation team and more specifically the ECMS team (Education for Global Citizenship and Solidarity), for two and a half months. The objective of this internship was to get a foot in the world of international cooperation. This internship was for me a real source of learning, both personally and professionally, and more particularly on the functioning of university NGOs. The team’s welcome was warm and helped me to integrate quickly. During this internship, I felt useful, I had the opportunity to actively contribute to several projects and initiatives. I actively participated in the design of a training for mobility students, the creation of various workshops following a certain methodology, the writing of my first call for projects as well as the implementation of an advocacy strategy. These experiences have been very enriching for me and have allowed me to develop many skills. These skills will be beneficial for my future professional life.

I would like to thank the ULB-Cooperation team for the welcome and this internship which went by very quickly.
